Neuron IP is actively seeking an Information Technology Support Specialist to be an integral part of our team, focusing on organizational security policy, as well as supporting a remote/hybrid ASIC engineering team. This role is for you if you are passionate about system admin, IT support, and developing scripts, automations, and methodologies. 

The Role:  

Support our rapidly expanding analog and digital R&D group, who focuses on purpose-built silicon IPs including high-speed SerDes and memory interfaces. You'll play a key role in enabling & empowering our engineering teams with Windows & Linux technical support, maintaining CAD & EDA software suites, expanding data safeguarding policies, crafting automation flows, and much more. In a remote or hybrid environment, collaborate closely with system architects, digital RTL/FW engineers, analog circuit designers, and product & test engineers to achieve first-pass silicon success.  

The Person:  

We are looking for someone with at least 4 years of focused, practical experience in IT support or a related field.  You will have a desire for constant learning and growth, a zeal for technical excellence, and an adaptable, positive mindset.  Your communication skills will shine in meetings, presentations, and written documentation. You are comfortable learning new skills for your role, and flexible enough to work with colleagues situated in different time zones.  We value creative thinkers and detail-driven problem-solvers who take the initiative to do what needs to be done.

Key Responsibilities & Preferred Experience: 

  • Knowledge of computer security, employee & identity management, data redundancy, virtualization, enterprise networking & servers, and other relevant topics.  
  • Significant in-depth experience with Microsoft tools (Azure, Sharepoint, Microsoft 365, PowerShell, Power Automate, etc). 
  • Significant in-depth experience with Linux system administration 
  • Interest in open-source software, Github, SVN, Python, GCC, etc. 
  • Collaborate with various team members to maintain & improve the Windows & Linux environment and drive advancements in our processes & automation.  
  • Communicate security policies & best practices, as well as effectively identify and manage IT issues which arise with remote employee computer systems.   
  • Preferred candidates will have several completed Microsoft certifications, CompTIA for Linux, ITIL Foundations, or equivalent credentials. 
  • Preferred candidates will have experience with semiconductor process design kits (PDKs), ASIC CAD & EDA software suites (such as Synopsys, Cadence, Siemens, Ansys, Keysight, etc.) 

Academic Credentials: 

  • Degree or Diploma in Networking, Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field with practical IT support experience.
